HomeView: HomeKit Dashboard — Last updated: June 29, 2026
HomeView: HomeKit Dashboard ("the App") is designed to give you a simple, customizable overview of your HomeKit-enabled accessories. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App uses and how.
The App reads and controls your HomeKit accessories (such as lights, thermostats, curtains, and cameras) directly through Apple's HomeKit framework. This data — including accessory names, states, and camera snapshots — stays on your device and within your local home network. The App does not collect, store, or transmit this data to any server operated by the developer or any third party.
If you enable the Weather widget, the App requests your device's precise location in order to retrieve an accurate local weather forecast through Apple's WeatherKit service. Your location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit service solely for this purpose. The App itself does not store, log, or share your location with any other party, and does not use your location for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
If you choose to send feedback through the App, your device's default Mail app opens with a pre-filled recipient address. Any information you include in that email is sent directly from your device to the developer's inbox; the App itself does not collect, store, or transmit this information.
Your preferences (such as widget layout, pinned tiles, and display name) are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children, as it does not collect personal data from any user.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
